Indian Delegation visited the capital Bishkek in the Kyrgyz Republic and met the leadership of the country. The delegation of the Indian Economic Trade Organization met various stakeholders in sectors like pharmaceuticals, Beverages, tourism, IT and Medical education. The Ambassador of India to Kyrgyz Republic and the Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic in India collaborated for the various meetings that were held in the government offices of the capital. olitical ties with the Kyrgyz Republic have been traditionally warm and friendly. Kyrgyzstan also supports India’s bid for a permanent seat at the United Nations Security Council and India’s full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, the two
countries have exchanged several visits at a high political level.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi attended the Summit meeting of the Heads of States of SCO which was followed by an officialvis it to the Kyrgyz Republic on 13-14 June 2019. Prime Minister and then Kyrgyz President Mr. Sooronbay Jeenbekov met both in narrow and extended formats. Fifteen bilateral agreements/ signed.
In addition to the above, Joint Statement on Strategic Partnership and a five-year roadmap for Trade and Economic
cooperation were adopted during the visit.
