The India-Poland Trade Conference was successfully conducted on September 9, 2024, at the Federation of Indian Exporters, Niryat Bhavan. Organized by the Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO), the event aimed to strengthen the trade and economic ties between India and Poland, fostering deeper cooperation and mutual growth.
The event began with the formal inauguration of the India-Poland Business Forum, where distinguished guests were welcomed, and the national anthems of both India and Poland were played to symbolize the unity and collaboration between the two countries.
Prof. D. K Giri, Chairman of the Academic Affairs Committee at IETO, delivered the Welcome Address, emphasizing the significance of this strategic partnership and the growing importance of India-Poland relations.
Ms. Sabina Inderjit, a prominent journalist from India News & Feature Alliance, addressed the audience by setting the theme for the conference, focusing on the current state and future potential of India-Poland Relations.

One of the highlights of the conference was a keynote speech on India-Poland Trade Relations and the Way Forward, delivered by Dr. Malgorzata Bonikowska, President of the Centre for International Relations, Poland. During her address, the “Invest India Poland Report 2024” was officially launched, providing insights into the future direction of trade relations between the two nations.
The event concluded with the Presentation of Award and Shawl to the chief guests “Dr. Malgorzata Bonikowska” and a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Asif Iqbal, President of the Indian Economic Trade Organization, expressing gratitude to all the participants and contributors to the successful conference.
The India-Poland Trade Conference provided a valuable platform for dialogue, paving the way for stronger economic partnerships and continued collaboration between the two nations.
