Bengaluru: Students from Brindavan College, Bengaluru, marked a significant milestone for the institution by participating in the prestigious Davos Summit 2026, where they engaged with global industry leaders, policymakers, and international stakeholders. Their presence at one of the world’s most influential platforms underscored the growing role of youth participation in global dialogue and reinforced the institution’s commitment to nurturing future-ready leadership.
During the summit, the students interacted with representatives from leading global organizations including BlackRock, Anthropic, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), gaining insights into emerging trends in technology, finance, sustainability, and responsible innovation. The interactions provided a valuable opportunity for the students to understand global economic challenges and the role of youth in shaping inclusive growth. They also met the Director of World Economic Forum Mr. Frank Jurgen Ritcher and extended the invitation to him to Bangalore.
A highlight of the visit was the meeting with the President of Timor-Leste, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, during which the students extended an invitation for him to visit India and engage with academic and policy communities. The interaction reflected the students’ growing engagement in international dialogue and peace-oriented initiatives.
The delegation also held discussions with several Indian Chief Ministers, including the Chief Ministers of Assam, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh. These interactions focused on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and the importance of aligning education with governance and development priorities.
Karnataka Minister for Large and Medium Industries, M.B. Patil, appreciated the achievement of the students, particularly acknowledging Faizan and Arkaan, second-year BBA students from Brindavan College. “The participation of young students from Karnataka at global platforms like Davos reflects the confidence and capability of our youth. Faizan and Arkaan have demonstrated how academic exposure combined with global engagement can build future leaders for India,” he said.

The Ambassador of Ecuador also commended the students’ involvement, noting, “Young students participating in international forums bring fresh perspectives and energy to global conversations. Their engagement demonstrates the importance of youth diplomacy and cross-cultural dialogue in addressing global challenges.”
The college administration noted that participation in such elite gatherings significantly contributes to enhancing the human potential of the institution by encouraging global exposure, leadership development, and policy awareness among students.
Building on this momentum, the students are scheduled to participate in the Paris Peace Forum in November 2026, where they will continue engaging with international stakeholders on issues related to peace, governance, and sustainable development.
The achievement marks an important step in positioning Brindavan College as an institution fostering globally aware and socially responsible future leaders.
